On-Country Pathways delivers employment and career pathway programs for First Nations people aged 15 to 24-years-old. Our programs are free for participants. On-Country Pathways programs are about building individual knowledge, skills and attitudes that lead to employment. We partner with high schools, TAFEs, universities, local businesses, local Aboriginal organisations to offer traineeships, work experience, driver mentoring and job placement support.

The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) L2P Program is a community-based program developed to assist eligible young Victorian learner drivers between the ages of 16 and 21 years (and in some circumstances, up to 23 years) who do not have access to a supervising driver, or an appropriate vehicle gain driving experience required for a probationary licence. Since 1 January 2023, more Victorians can access their first Free TAFE course or government subsidised training regardless of their current skills or any qualifications that they already have. We’ve removed the upskilling rule for access to all government subsidised training and changed the once in a lifetime limit on Free TAFE courses within specific training pathways – including nursing, early childhood, community services and building and construction.
